Is there a way to search for a member by typing the name in a search box rather than having to keep stabbing at the page numbers?

Just go to members tab...click on the looking glass at the upper right to perform a search

When I search on a member's name it returns all the threads that mention the member's name. What I was looking for was a way to bring up the member's profile by simply typing their name in the box.

I m not sure but try clicking on their picture/avatar. I think that pops up the profile. [USER=404]@John1Minor2[/USER]

Yes, clicking the member avatar will bring up the member profile. It would be much simpler to type the member name in the search box rather than a two step process.
Maybe Wendell can do something???
If you go to the Members page, then start typing in the Find Member search box in the right sidebar column, it will show suggestions. Then click one to visit the full profile.
