I was once questioned before being selected for a jury. When the attorney heard I was an engineer, he wanted to know if I would be able to follow the judge's instructions, even if they weren't as precise and exact as the attorney imagined an engineer's reasoning process to be. I answered sure, as long as the instructions aren't outrageous. No one complained about my answer.

I love it, Mr. Cow!

Have you ever read about Jury Nullification?

Where, you simply did not like the law, even though you thought he obviously had "broken" it. So, you vote "not guilty."

In the future, it is good to know.

Judges instructions to the dust bin!

(He cannot supersede reality)
