i am a page 1 reader only

Up to page 4 ...

being in Europe, and the time shift (ca. 8hrs), I miss a lot of traffic ... when I check in the 'latest posts' window isn't large enough.

I'm on often enough that nearly all new posts since my last visit will be on page 1. Maybe once every day or two I will go down through page 2 or more seeking a specific thread that was interesting, searching for any posts added. Occasionally, I will end up several pages down because someone else has commented to one that far down and I can't find it in a quick look at page 1. You know, sometimes someone will search a specific topic, find a great thread, add their own comment and sort of forget the thread is a month old or more so the odds of anyone finding that comment is rare.

It's kind of fun to scroll down to the bottom and see how many are on line. Then click on the user directory and see who's on line. Every once in a while, you see who's lurking, that has signed up but never posts....
