So today in between naps I found myself reviewing quite a number of the posts of items for sale and on a number of them I couldn't help but wonder if they were still available.
Is is possible to have a time limit on these where the seller has to affirmatively respond or else the post is deleted?
And definately a delete button when they are sold?

Yeah, this is something I've been tossing around for quite awhile. I don't feel like the forum is the best place for this type of feature, since it is intended to be a forum, not a classified ads system. As it is right now, they can message me and I'll happily add [SOLD] to the title. The OP can also mark the thread "Solved" which could serve as notification that the item is sold. But, as you might imagine, nobody does that -- but I don't make that clear either.
But yes, I agree that there needs to be something more robust. I like your idea(s) and particularly the time limit, where the post/item self-deletes -- although I'd probably mark it as sold instead. I'm hoping to do something with this in 2019.
