We've noticed that email notifications are not going out since the move... Looking into it now and hopefully it will be resolved soon. This also means that if you tried contacting me using the contact form, I did not receive it.
Thanks for your patience!
Ok, we've made some headway... emails should go out now, although we haven't completely finished our work on the problem.
Also note that the contact form and sending messages to other users from here doesn't yet work.

It's all probably because of SMTP/emailer/network credentials since you changed servers. In a .NET site all I need to do is change 2 parameters in a single line of code that connects to the email server. I know all email server servers require an authentication. It can get a bit more complicated than that. There's the short thing to look for.
I'll take a look at your code if you want.

Unfortunately, I have found that this forum does not use SMTP. To me, that is sad because EVERYONE uses SMTP.
Anyway, stay tuned, we got something working in a test environment and hope to have it going soon.

All email notifications should now be working. The contact form and message form (to another user) should be working now also. The formatting in the messages sent by the forms has a few small issues, but nothing huge. We are working on that issue now.
Of course, we welcome you to report any problems you might have in regards to the email/message system, performance issues, etc. We continue to tweak things, but your problem reports often help us find the source of the problem(s). So please let us know and provide as much detail as you can.
Thanks! 🙂
