Wow, my blog has been picked up by the Beer Leg News. I guess I'll need to update it more often and keep it fresh.
I go on vacation for a couple weeks and things (new features) happen around here. Wendell must be having fun trying out new things. I hope his "paying" clients don't suffer for the time he spends on this site.
Well then, I'll update my blog in the coming days with pictures and comments about my vacation to Virginia and back. Aside from the Jamboree, I saw a couple other interesting things related to surveying and a few things Civil War related and came across something completely by accident that relates to both.

That is purely up to you and if you don't want it there, it doesn't have to be there. 🙂

In most cases, I can use the stuff I develop either for the client or from the client so it actually works out nicely. 🙂

Well, I had been hoping to get picked up by Drudge, but that hasn't happened yet. 😛
Beer Leg News will help me spread the word!
Thanks.
Also, those so inclined can go to https://surveyorconnect.com/news 🙂
So how did Dan find this and how do the rest of us find this other than the link Dan posted in the start of this thread? I took a quick look and it looks promising.
There is a rotating banner at the bottom of all the forum pages, so it shows up occasionally. I'm not overly advertising it just yet, since it is beta and all. 🙂
I thought I should mention that the URL for the News page has changed. Subdomains (e.g. news.beerleg.com) tend to use up some server overhead, so I removed it in favor of using http://beerleg.com/news . I figured I'd better do it sooner rather than later before it is linked/bookmarked from too many locations.
All of the URLs that were posted here (as well as the bottom banner) were changed accordingly. If you happened to save the old URL as a bookmark/favorite, you may want to update that. 🙂
