I have been trying off and on to update my avatar for a week or so to no avail.?ÿ I am using the from disc, browse, select and then save method in both Firefox 65.0 (really?) and IE 11.?ÿ I have tried jpg's different sizes, squareness, flushed the cache and tried foul words.?ÿ I had come to the conclusion that the site hates me.?ÿ Then I saw that my new avatar is my avatar on page 8 of the members list ...?ÿ

I had seen that when I changed my avatar to Hogzilla. I don't know this is the answer, but one of the features of this site is Gravatar, which is some universal web .. avatar app(?)

Yeah, turns out our image optimization routine was having some issues, but I think I've got it sorted out now. 🙂
I tried changing to a gif today and the same thing happened.?ÿ It appears on the member page, but, no where else.?ÿ

Well it showed up as a static image.?ÿ Are the gifs too big??ÿ The 100x100 is 246KB

I just tried a 60x60 for 96 KB and no animation, so, I am assuming that is turned off.?ÿ I will go back to the Minion one then

Wendell, it did work as is, I was too impatient, because I am me.?ÿ They change, but, it takes a minute.?ÿ Gif's don't appear to work though
