Where to get a good price on X90 Opus additional internal batteries? And, a recommendation for an external battery?

Mark told me you can find the internal batteries on Amazon, I am not sure of the model number.
I got an external battery from Batteries Plus, it is a seal battery used in alarm systems. It meas. 4"x 6" x 5",+/-. it dits nicely in a 30 cal plastic ammo box. I get about 4 to 5, 4 hour ocupations with. I also use the external battery for my total station. You will also need a battery Tender type charger.
I hope this helps.

Well, you could get them from us but man our price is crazy.

We don't purchase original equipment toner for our printers and I totally get this battery deal.

This [ link ] should get you an Amazon search for 'Trimble 5800 batteries'.

There are a couple of capacities but they all look like they would work.

One warning 'for what it is worth': we tell you not to charge third party batteries in our charger.

Just like HP tells you not to use 3rd party toner in your printer.

I guess the X90 has really made it when a 2nd source for batteries is being discussed!

Thanks,

M
