A bit off topic, but is there any advantage to UFCORS other than reduced file size? It seems so easy just to grab the whole day's file, especially since most software can import the compressed file as-is.

Definitely an advantage with ufcors.

Beside the RINEX file you get the position data and the latest available orbit file.

For some CORS that 24 hour files includes 1 second data. For my purposes I request it parsed to 5 or 10 seconds. Why get and store data you will never use. There are a few CORS that still only send 15 second data, which does not match up well with my 10 second receivers. Currently they do not have 10 second data as a choice as they did in the past.

After 30 days NGS parses and only stores the 30 second files they use for OPUS and OPUS-RS. In that case, when I request 10 second data the NGS interpolates the 30 second data back to 10 second data. saves me from having to interpolate it myself.

Lastly my post processing softwares want to put the whole 24 hours up on the screen, and if I have multiple CORS it wants to take the time to process those 24 hour files against each other until I tell it no to.
