My crew recently started using a trimble r10 gps with the access program. While trying to set an autonomus base, we could not figure how to properly insert a base point. We kept getting a message that said cannot convert to WGS84. What are we doing wrong?

Beside the point number, click on the arrow and then select "Key In".

You'll get knocked into another screen, then hit "HERE" at the bottom to get an autonomous position.

Accept, accept... antenna height... start.

Isn't that other screen you get kicked into like the toggle for selecting your screen output. Never used access, but in my TSC2 I just flip to WGS84 as the option, then hit the sacred "here" key that gets so many folks in trouble. Then go to grid for any calibration I want to do.
