Hallo boys,
is here somebody who uses Trimble Geomatics Office (TGO) yet? I need to know, if it is possible to find up DOP (or HDOP) values of the measured points in this software. I did not find it :-/

Hi Tom,

you can find them in TGO and export them by a custom report, another way is to use the ASCII File generator and making an export from the job file, or even create this file on the dc.
For TGO this is one way I know by making an report.
Choose Reports|Additional reports...
Check your settings for Report on = Point Details

right clcik in the format body frame to have a list with available fields.

once you inserted a field you can format the display accuracy and display width by right clicking on the item-text and choosing for Fields|Advanced|Modifiers|Width,Decimal places

Hi Christ,

thank you very much for your quickly reply. I tried yesterday this way but value of HDOP was question mark.
In the table "Define Report Format" in the entry: "Report on" I set "QC Reporting" becauce "Point details" gives en empty output.

What do you think - is it possible to see this DOP values somewhere in the calculation process?

Here is the outcome with values of P-DOP "?"

I think you need to export the data for vectors to see PDOP, not points as you have done.

It's been a while since I did this but if you export out from the QC menu and select the vectors it should give you the info you need. See attached graphic.

Edit: I just tried this and PDOP will not export, the HDOP and RDOP will.. strange.

When I open the TGO file as MSAccess DBase I see the PDOP field in the solution-table is empty, at least for my RTK-shots.

Exploring these tables more in depth may lead you to another solution

Hi Christ,

It is good idea to open the TGO file (tgo_v160.mdb).
There are still not PDOP / HDOP values there, unfortunately, but I'll use the values of max RDOP.
Although officials require this value, they understand it even less than I 😉

Thanks Tom
