Anyone out there using or demo one of these units yet? Curious how they perform.

It's a GCX2. Yes I have a pair. Excellent as a network Rover. Only 1000ft when used as Bluetooth base and Rover.

12 hour battery
8gb memory for static
Less than one pound, don't feel it on the poll
Works great with hybrid robot/GNSS system

The GCX3 was just released last week. It can receive GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BDS. Claims to work better in canopy with POST2 antenna. Battery reduced to 10 hours. But no L5. Fits in your pocket.

I'm thinking of buying a GCX3 or Hiper HR. Huge price difference. The HR can receive L5, which Steve Rosen at NYSDOT says they are now testing. Others have said L5 will be a big improvement under canopy.

Anxiously awaiting the L5 on NYSNet.
