Still no base receivers 20 hrs after midnight. And I’ve never seen that message after 1-3 hrs post midnight.

I think the data in the Ashtech is damaged.

One receiver down, one more to test

The ZSurveyor has older build: B0.

There is at least an E version, I hope it’s still available to flash the receiver. I was so happy until yesterday

Well the ZSurveyor data appears scrambled. The much older z12 data works just fine, date edited of course.

Spparently the Ashtech archive is gone. So if you know of any source for later Z firmware loads I’d be grateful. I guess I should’ve been more attentive.

Hi Mark,  I upgraded the firmware of my MobileMapper 100 receivers to the required version.  The date and time are correct in the receiver however once I download to GNSS Solutions, I'm getting a start time (time of first record) of August 22, 1999.  The filename shows the correct year and Julian day and everything processes fine.  Any thoughts.....?

GNSS Solutions is working well for me when I import 'good dated' RINEX.

However the latest RINEX Convertor (V 4.7.1) is not converting G files correctly. (I have already dropped a note to the factory.)

So my guess is if you are importing G files into GNSS Solutions they are being converted incorrectly.

On my PF500's the internal RINEX converter (the one that automatically processes the G files into RINEX on the attached thumbdrive) is working correctly. So, hopefully a new RINEX converter will fix this issue.

I suspect I will have additional information tomorrow. 🙂

Your correct!....I am trying to import G files directly as that is what I have always done.  It would be too bad if that functionality went away.

Subsequent to my first post, I did try a RINEX file from a slightly older version (4.3.4...I believe).  I got the same bad date in GNSS Solutions as the direct G file import.  I also noticed on the info tab of the RINEX converter that the date was wrong there and as expected when I viewed the observation file in notepad, the date was wrong as well.

In my simple mind, it appears the date is being pulled from the G File which I would have expected to be fixed with the firmware update.  Hopefully a new converter will fix the issue.

Thanks for your help.

I will start a new thread, but the answer to your issue is to pre-convert the G files using the RINEX converter that I recieved this morning and then import them. Here is a link:

https://ashgps.com/2/RINEX_Convert/4.7.2/index.htm

I think there will be a link on the official Spectra website soon too.

Can 4.7.2 fix dates?

I just found 4.6.1 and thought I was current.

It fixed mine automatically.  I don't see that you can edit manually if that's what your asking
