They started stacking the rocket today. GPS 2F-12 will be placed in slot F1, rounding out 2 2F satellites in each orbit. Prior to launch they will deactivate GPS 2A (SVN 23) in slot E5 that was launched in 1990. Unbelievable service. That will leave no 2A in use.

Paul Paul Paul,

You are intriguing me. How on earth do you stay so "Up" on this stuff? Is it your hobby? Do you work for NASA? (Hey, send me a few hunnerd!) (Wink)

Anyway, it's neat stuff, but my brain stays full of other stuff. How do you do it?

I'm glad you do... and I'm glad you post it here.

'cause I'd be in the dark, without it.

So, thank you.

Nate

They have more in storage? Or are we awaiting the production line on next-gen?

No more in storage. Contractor is way behind on next generation.
