The JAVAD Triumph 2 antenna models are available now through OPUS.

I am hoping somebody will report back here regarding the performance of the unit.

The ANTCAL page lists a JAVTRIUMPH_2 and a JAVTRIUMPH_2A. The only difference appears to be the addition of a 25 mm pole adapter (the native connector is 1/4-20 rather than 5/8-11) on the 2A. I wonder why they felt it necessary to regard them as two separate antennas.

In a way it simplifies the users life. No 25mm addition to your HI.

Different offset to ARP

> Good to have two. Different offset from phase center to ARP with the adapter on.

I'm still trying to figure out who's going to use one without the adapter. The survey world -- at the least the U.S. survey world -- is built on 5/8-11. And we're all used to measuring to the ARP, not the bottom of an adapter. It just strikes me as odd.

I note that they didn't create two entries for the Triumph-LS, which is also native 1/4-20, and will be used with an adapter by most. (I'm very skeptical about the included minipole, but maybe I'll change my mind once I get my hands on it.)

Funny that ANTEX values go out to 2 decimal places and show the adapter to be exactly 25 mm, while ANTINFO rounds to 1 and makes the adapter look like it's 24.9 mm.
