Does anyone have experience using a Triumph-1 as a base station with or without a PacCrest PDL, pushing out to a Topcon Hiper GGD? Is there a way to adjust the settings to allow this? I finally got the Hiper to blink its receiving light, meaning that something is coming in, but it is waiting on base position in SurveyPro and No correction in SurvCE. My Legacy E finally crapped out the day before I was supposed to head south for the winter, so I borrowed a Triumph from a friend. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I am currently dead in the water.

John, thank you very much for your input on the issue, your suggestions got me up and transmitting and receiving. I switched the UHF protocol to tmotx (transparent with EOT timeout) and the modulation to gmsk. The only issue I have now is that I am running SurveyPro, and only have a demo of SurvCE. It appears that I am up and running on SurvCE, I will field test this tomorrow after I input some points nearby. Just trying to see if I can set base with SurvCE and then spoof it into working on SurveyPro once the base is transmitting a correction. But I am sure I can't have my cake and eat it too. So I will look at how much it would be to upgrade to SurvCE, our local salesman neglected to tell us the compatibility issues when we purchased a Spectra Ranger 3 last year. Thank you again for your help. 🙂
