Hello all,
Does anyone have experience connecting up their Hiper Ga to the California Real Time Network ??ÿ I'm having trouble getting a fix.
Login info works fine.?ÿ Mountpoint connection seems good.?ÿ Cannot get a fix, or even a float solution, however.?ÿ Autonomous only.?ÿ I'm located in Ukiah, California, and have tried mountpoints all around Mendocino County.?ÿ Looking for ideas on what else I can try.
Thanks for any help !
Sounds like an Options Authorization File (OAF) issue. May need OAF for NTRIP or to open port, something else.
Ask your Topcon dealer for an open test OAF or enable the Cinderella option and test on Cinderrela Tuesday.
Good tip, thank you. Will try that out.
Try hanging up and redialing after connecting.
?ÿI use an?ÿR8 with a TSC3. It used to go to 'fixed' after logging in and selecting the mount point until about a month?ÿago.
I consistently get 'autonomous' or 'DGPS' after connecting. I have modem?ÿtab that allows me to hangup and redial, then it goes to 'fixed'.
Remember that they are broadcasting NAD83(2011)epoch2017.50 coordinates since March 1st.

Following up..
I don't have a tab to hangup and redial, but I appreciate the feedback !
Still getting the same issue with my rover.?ÿ However, I did find that I'm able to get a fix if I use my base to connect.?ÿ So I'm thinking it must be an OAF issue as suggested by leegreen.?ÿ I went through the options files on both units and didn't find an obvious discrepancy.?ÿ I'll contact my Topcon dealer and see what's up.?ÿ Also will try the Cinderella option on coming Tuesdays.
Thank you both !
