Hi all. I've got a bit of a conundrum with a BRx6+ receiver. When powered on this morning, it refused to go past the Carlson splash screen. I've tried flashing the latest firmware on it, but still nothing past the flash screen. I can connect to it via web UI, but not Bluetooth. Also, oddly the web UI shows the battery at 100% even though it's only half charged. Carlson have told me to do a hard reset, but no result, still stuck on the boot screen. Below is snapshot of web UI. If anyone has any pearls of wisdom, they would be much appreciated...
Thanks, Ben.

Via the WebUI, in the Management tab should be buttons for:
- Self Test (which should generate a results.log [or similar name] in the Information tab), and/or,
- Restore Factory Settings
Have either of these been explored?
Hi Ladd, thanks for your reply. I've tried a factory reset a few times, and I've also done a self test. Attached are both the app.log and sys.log from the time the error started, to the latest self check carried out a few moments ago.
One thing I have noted is that the MCU firmware is showing version 0.1 in the information tab. I'm assuming that part of the system is booting, hence the web UI is working and the unit is picking up satellites. But I'm also assuming (assuming being the key word) that part of the system isn't, hence there is no Bluetooth, lights or responsiveness from the front panel on the unit.
Thanks, Ben.

I'm unable to determine what might be causing the issue and it appears the WebUI (2.14.200319) is up-to-date:
BRx6plus_WebUI_2.14.200319.bin
However, it appears the GNSS engine (currently 5.9Aa08) could be upgraded to 6.0Aa02a:
BRx6plus_GNSS_060Aa02a.bin
You can find this update at:
https://web.carlsonsw.com/files/knowledgebase/kbase05.php?action=display_topic&topic_id=1169
If this doesn't address the problem, my other?ÿsuggestion would be to re-contact the Carlson Tech Support team (support@carlsonsw.com) and perhaps request an earlier BRx6+ firmware.
I hope this information helps.
@benjarratt If you have not already solved the issue, there is a way to reflash these units and more than likely fix your issue. Occasionally, something gets corrupted on these units, often when external power and battery is connected at the same time. It is a relatively easy fix. I have done it a dozen times over the last 6-7 years. Upgrading the engine will likely not fix the issue. If you send me a private message and I will get you the tools you need.
