Is there as way to use a Carlson BRx7 with the internal cell modem as a standalone NTRIP caster? There doesn't appear to be an NTRIP network option when I select "Internal GSM" as the corrections device when setting up the base in SurvPC. It will allow you to configure a TCP/IP Network, but that won't allow you to specify a mount point as would be required when using one of the free NTRIP caster services. I'm assuming I misunderstand the fundamentals of casting NTRIP data. I just don't understand the purpose of the internal SIM card slot if a second data collector is still required to run the NTRIP server at the base.
I have no problems with the internal radio corrections, but a lot of our work involves heavy sight-line obstructions and radio signal becomes a problem when approaching baselines near a mile long.
I have been wondering that myself so I could use it as a base for drone rtk corrections.
Why not use Carlson's Listen-listen service? It works great other than the $450 yearly fee.

I misunderstood Listen-Listen to be a public NTRIP server hosted by Carlson, instead of the service that it actually is. I'll definitely look into that.
@patrick-gt I use a couple of BRx7's and went looking for the NTRIP setup in SurvPC because my year of listen-listen is coming to an end, and the renewal is $450. As you noted, it's not there. If it had been I was going to loose the listen-listen and go with free from emlid. Emlid requires NTRIP settings in the controller, but that option is not available for the BRx7. So I will be forced to continue paying the yearly $450 fee.?ÿ
Listen-listen assigns (rents) you 2 portals, one inbound, one outbound.?ÿ
Suspicious minds might think perhaps Carlson programmed SurvPC like they did in order to keep users coming back to use its listen-listen service. By the way, I actually enjoy the benefit of using listen-listen (just don't like spending money that could be saved or used for other purposes).?ÿ

Well I appreciate the additional input on the listen-listen service, it seems that's the way I need to go. It looks like I get a limited free trial of the service with our current units, so I'll be investigating that first.
