The unit was built in 2013. It has never been used, still in demo/registration mode.

If you add the Sokkia Accessories Kit RC-PR5. Which come with a 360 degree prism. You will be able to enable communication up to nearly 2,000 feet between the data collector of your choice and the SX robotic total station. This SX Robot use MAGNET Field software.

Does it have on board software and can it be used as a manual TS as well?

Windows CE is the operating system installed in the SRX as well as the Magnet Field. This device feature the auto-track and auto-pointing technology which work with the Sokkia Accessories kit or any prism. No need to use it as manual TS. If you are looking for a manual TS, you should consider for the SET series.
