Wipe it down, especially inside the battery case
That crap in the battery compartment tells me that the thing has habitually not been fully dried after getting wet. I don't have a problem with getting it wet. The seller is in the PNW, after all. Not drying it would bug me - if I were in the market.
We use a similar model/vintage at my work, but we use it with a CS20 and Captivate. Going strong. And Leica still supports it with parts, I'm told. But none have been necessary.?ÿ
I think that you are going to have to drop the price into the $5k area to get interest.?ÿ
