Jim,

Not yet at least.?ÿ My wife has kindly suggested that I reduce my mineral survey book collection from two bookcases down to one bookcase and I said, "Yes dear".?ÿ If I add in the first 76 volumes of the DOI Land Decisions, my "shelf-area" will be reduced even more.?ÿ ??ÿ

I don't know about becoming an expert by having these books.?ÿ The large majority of these books were published before 1922 so are available from Google Books and/or the Internet Archive.?ÿ

However, I am old school (emphasis on old) and enjoy reading a physical book instead of an ebook or PDF file.?ÿ I find little joy staring at a computer screen.?ÿ Over the years I've developed an ability to fall asleep in my office chair without falling and hurting myself.?ÿ When I'm done with my cat nap I am often greeted by a screen full of "j" characters.?ÿ?ÿ?ÿ ??ÿ

Ha! I can do the same thing, however for me it is usually either pages of 2's or the ` character because of the way I have my hands on the keyboard.

Must be a side effect of the survey bug! ??ÿ
