In a thread started by Nate there was some talk about old EDMS and it reminded me that I have a pretty fine HP 3800 somewhere around here. It is a brute. I got it in a set of surplus gear and it looks like its not been used hardly at all. The battery pack/met correction box needs recelled but using the auxiliary cable I was able to take a shot with it. It even has the little vertical angle device that sits on top so you can reduce the slope dist without setting up the theodolite. I am willing to give this away if someone will pay for the shipping and packing costs. It will probably be around $100. Contact me if you are interested.
That's awesome. If I had alot of extra space, and a new office, I'd encase it, so that others could see and remember.
Hopefully, it will wind up where Mr. Nostalgia can have an hay day with all of us!
