Programming is in a way just another form of math notation. Never hurts a surveyor to learn more math.

thank you very much!, that idea was evolving very slowly to what it is now..
djames, since you were able to parse Garmin NMEAs, and Total Station messages, seems like the only thing you need ia a SeriaToBt adapter attached to the gun, to stream data into your iPad Excell program. (I am sure you know about these adapters)
