That's very neat- autographed copy and stamped, never saw anyone that was #1 before. Do you know how to get it online or where I could purchase it? I would love to read it, there's nothing online from WV like all the other states...

Looks like there is an exam review class at the convention in February

OK, thanks- I was more interested in the 2 described above that were collections of case law (Orange book and 1 by R.Sypolt). Is the Compass Land Surveying book WV survey law as well?

Thanks, I've never went before but sounds like a good opportunity to learn and meet some surveyors. I will sign up and hopefully get to go.

Compass Land Surveying is pretty much what it says...a textbook for rural land surveys performed with a compass. It's value comes from the insight into the procedures of those who's footsteps you're following.

When I was working in TN we had a project in Huntington WV so I applied for a temporary permit. Imagine my surprise when I received license #779, now expired 🙂
