I'd be shocked if this came from there, although there are some new faculty since I attended.
Yes, Dan, 2 Years around the turn of the century, never used that reference before.
I needed one more Survey course, a Statistics and a Technical Writing course to qualify for a degree. My BS CE at Lehigh never included a Statistics course. For the Technical Writing I paid the fee to test out of it, but then the English Department and The Engineering Department got in a pissing match over the requirement and I never got to take a test. When I passed all parts of the PA exam on the first try Josh asked me if I was going to quit the program, I said No, but I guess he was more perceptive than I.

I don't believe Josh has any involvement in the program anymore. When I was there he relocated to Israel and taught the two most difficult courses from there via internet. (I was not thrilled about that). The new guy (Dr. Potts) is really good though, and I enjoyed his courses.
I saw Potts at NJSPLS Survcon (NJ Survey conference) and he informed me that NJIT will now offer a masters in land surveying. I would love to do it, but I cannot justify the expense simply to satisfy my ego. There's no reason that I NEEED the masters degree. My wife has an MS and I have two BS's, so I guess I will have to continue to be the dumb one......
Josh's courses were always remote to the Mount Laurel Campus. On quiz nights Josh would go to Mount Laurel and Newark would have the remote class with an assistant handling the quizzes. For final exams the Mount Laurel crew came up to Newark. I understand they closed down Mount Laurel in 2004.
Attendance at Newark seems in a slow decline..

Don't feel bad, I'm just a Dumb-S.
Reminds me of that joke I think someone told here once.
Everyone knows what "BS" stands for, well "MS" stands for "More of the Same" and, of course "PhD" means "Piled Higher and Deeper"
