I went to one of Jennifer's classes yesterday and really enjoyed it. She showed us lots of tips and shortcut's for Carlson, AutoCad, and InteliCad. Plus there was a presenter, Janet Jackson with Intersect, LLC explaing GIS and the relevance to surveying. Well worth the money and the course is approved for 8 CEU's by North Carolina for Surveyors and Engineers.
Those of us in the Mid-Atlantic region should be taking advantage of this. I was also surprised that there were quite a few of Solo guys other than me in attendance.

I thought about attending but I was afraid that the weather would cause it to be postponed. How many people showed up?
There was about 25 people.
She had an article in the January Professional Surveyor which I thought was really useful.
There looks like lots of good info on Jennifer's website. I plan on making good use of it as I impliment Carlson (as soon as teh new computer arrives)
Kinda wish she had on-line classes for CEUs
THE Janet Jackson? Did she have a wardrobe malfunction? 😀
Thanks for the great feedback! The Statesville class completes my big workshops for a few months so I've actually got time to get back up on this Board periodically. It's been fun but the slower pace with less travel will be nice.
I'll also insert a plug for Janet Jackson. Here's a link to her Bio. Many of you have probably seen her articles in Professional Surveyor, CE News and others.
Yeah, get yourself back over here! I'm getting lonely being the only female around here!! Well, sans Money Penny and Liz. We're a rare bunch!! But a good bunch. 🙂 :girl:
