I am new to this forum. Also, I am new to surveying as a whole. I have about 2.5 years of experience in the field. Everything I know has been self-taught through trial and error. Just recently I have become obsessed with learning all the functions of Magnet Field.

As of right now, I am learning about about quick codes and their impact. I have done some research about stake reports. Under "calculate" the only function I really use is inverse. Occasionally I will use Pt in Dir.

I'm not familiar with Magnet, but Survey Pro has a (?) icon within each screen/menu that tells what each function within the menu does. Is that an option available to you?
