Atlas of the Historical Geography of the United States
"A spectacular historical atlas refashioned for the 21st century
Here you will find one of the greatest historical atlases: Charles O. Paullin and John K. Wright's Atlas of the Historical Geography of the United States, first published in 1932. This digital edition reproduces all of the atlas's nearly 700 maps. Many of these beautiful maps are enhanced here in ways impossible in print, animated to show change over time or made clickable to view the underlying dataÛÓremarkable maps produced eight decades ago with the functionality of the twenty-first century."

Outstanding! Thanks for the link.
Arkansas' GIS University has referenced the states GLO maps and are working on 'clickable' GLO field notes.

ThatÛªs perfect timing! I am currently reading two books about Francisco Pizarro and Francisco de OrellanaÛªs jaunt up/down the Amazon and the other about PizarroÛªs slaughter of the Incas. (almost as barbaric as Hernan CortezÛªs massacre of the Aztecs)
Your link is exactly what I needed to see New Spain maps circa 1500Ûªs. Thanks!

How will I ever get any work done? I barely scratched the surface late last night for over an hour! That's a keeper.
