Hello Everyone:
I am taking the Alabama exam next month and would appreciate any advice from past-takers.
I downloaded:
- Board Acts & Rules
- Faircloth Notes?ÿ
- ASPLS Standards of Practice
- My Favorite Books (Brown's, BLM Manual, etc.)
I understand this is an exam I take from my computer, at my office, and it's two hours.
Any advice, past experiences, or suggested references is much appreciated.
?ÿ
Thank You!
Tony
It's been 26 years since I sat for it. Back then Faircloth, the Board rules and the Standards had everything you needed to know. I was surprised how many of the questions were right out of Faircloth. Looks like you've got it covered.
I believe its been 15 years but I do recall a number of questions concerning the Faircloth Notes. Any more than that is a haze.?ÿ
I found the Idaho state test far more difficult.?ÿ
Thanks to both of you for the advice.
It may seem hard to believe, but I suspect that very little of the Alabama exam has changed in the past 15 - 30 years.
Same sources, same references, etc.
I am taking it in the next month so I'll be sure to post back here about the general experience.
I took the test in 2008.
If you don't know who John Coffee is, don't take the test.
