Got right up upon this with the rover, noticed a hole in the top and said, “No way!” Never seen anything like this before.

What was holding the bollard upright? There doesn’t appear to be any of it sticking in the ground.

Maybe one inch, sort of twisted into the ground.

The 4′ laths and the relatively soft ground were holding the bollard upright.
