Trimble TS305 not working
Hello everyone,
I’m have an issue with a Trimble Spectra TS305. When I press the power on button, the screen lights up for a second and the turns off and that’s it. It is not working. Please check this video.
What can it be? What can I do?

I was gifted a TS305 without software disk, last week, with the same problem; check the pressure pins on the unit at the battery connection. One of the spring-loaded contacts does not fully extend to make full contact and will make only momentary contact after installing the battery. The metal sleeve containing the spring and pin may have been damaged from misalignment of the battery during installation, there are plastic rails on each side of the battery terminal strips which may project far enough to damage the movement of the pins. Carefully installing the battery and wrapping it with one turn of velcro tape seems to be a temporary fix.
Pleas let me know if a copy of the software on the disk could be put on a thumb-drive to get my unit up and running.
The Trimble RECON data recorder that came with it seems to have some functions aboard, but would like any available program copy for it as well.
