Trimble receiver settings for static surveys
Does anyone know of a Trimble document that lists the recommended settings for receivers like the Alloy or R12? I am referring to static data collection that will be post processed in TBC or submitted to Centerpoint RTX or OPUS.
In the webUI the tracking page has a lot of possible constellations/frequencies/signals that could be set. Anytime I connect a data collector to the receiver to use as a rover, it turns off a lot of these signals. Since the receiver has a LOT of memory, I don’t see the drawback to turning on everything. But I don’t know for sure if any of these signals are detrimental since I cannot find any document saying what are the best practices.
Similarly, there are options under data logging like smooth pseudorange and smooth phase that I would like to know if it is wise to have that checked or not checked?
And, is there any info about IonoGuard? I am assuming that is only applicable at the base for real time surveys, but I am not sure. And should it only be turned on in high ionospheric activity conditions or left on?
