The application timed out waiting for a response
I have been downloading data from our Trimble 5700 receiver with no issues using the Data Transfer utility. Yesterday I had the fortune (can you hear the sarcasm?) of receiving the following message: “The application timed out waiting for a response”. I checked all of the settings and the utility is seeing the receiver, but the program is simply timing out. We recently upgraded our TBC license, so I’m wondering if there could be some conflict going on that I’m not aware of? That leads me to my question to the RPLS community: have any of you ever encountered this error before when transferring data using the Trimble Data Transfer Utility?
