Scanner app for phone
Posted by rankin_file on July 25, 2019 at 12:39 pmWhich app are you using for camera/scan purposes on your cell phone? I wouldn??t mind a monthly fee if it worked well.

I use Genius Scan. It is a free app unless you want to unlock various transfer methods. I paid a small fee (I believe $5.99) to unlock the transfer methods. I mainly use the transfer to Google Drive.
The app has some basic editing capabilities and you can select between a black and white scan or in color.
I have had good success with the app and no complaints, but my usage is pretty basic.
CamScanner pro or unlocked or licensed $1.99
awesome and makes incredible pdf or jpeg and can send files without leaving app
I use the CamScanner app. It does a good job and offers a free version to a paid version.
The high tech in me was hoping this was thread about a modern app with the ability to create a 3d model and point cloud within a cell phone… Not yet. I will have to look into these apps however, I can see how they would be very useful.
oh, scanner. I use MS office lens which seems to work pretty good. often grab a photo of whatever plan or sketch I’m staking from and use onenote to mark it up.
