I recently received a paper edition of the POB magazine with a renewal request. When I attempted access to the online renewal form, the site wouldn’t load. Tried a bit later with the same result.
I spent the postage to mail the card back to them wherein I instructed them to remove my information from their subscriber database.
That magazine and website used to be an awesome resource.
No longer.
Long live RPLSToday.com! Thanks Wendell and Angel!
Jeff D.I never visit there anymore, but this thread got me curious, so I clicked on my bookmark and got a “server not found” message. I looked at the bookmark URL and saw that it was http://beta.rpls.com/forums, so I removed the “beta” and tried again, and got to the forums page. The real URL is

So the pace has picked up.
I’m sorry but that pic of the dude in a suit and tie with hard hat on, with the clipboard, just makes my skin crawl.

Don’t you know that is the architect being told the foundation plan will not fit the setbacks of the lot.

Redux
https://surveyorconnect.com/community/threads/caption-this-photo-again.324390/It shows how “tone deaf” POB is that they would use that picture on a site that they want to attract land surveyors to visit. ridiculous.

At least this guy isn’t wearing a tie
Beerleg transitioned to RPLSToday is doing a great job and service for its users. I look at the pages less frequently now than in the past. However, I still prefer and miss the old format and wish we could have it again. Personally, while I think an option to view would be fine, I do not enjoy seeing the repetitive 35 x 72mm rectangles along the left side showing avatars and other member information included with each and every post. Author and post would suffice.
