On line Professional Development Hours

Areas of need: I’d like to see a presentation on projections. There are many kinds. These are usually from round-earth coords, to flat earth coords.
Lots of pictures. Drawings. Illustrations. Concepts. Mechanisms. How bearings are affected.
I and many others are either weak in this, or are nearly incompetent.
Another generally weak area is the area of understanding our role in the courtroom, when we know more than most lawyers, judges, and realtors, and allow ourselves, and our practice to be maligned, by fecal minded lawyers.
To summarize:
Projections.
Bearings.
Lawyering.

@mike-marks daaang… y’all are really channeling a certain butt-hurt Texan….
Students are free and technicians are a significantly reduced rate in my home state.
Not quite sure how it is a scam to make the professional societies money when people can choose to use one of the other providers of CPD hours than the state society. Perhaps it is different in other states, but in Kentucky, besides the online options, there is at least one company I am familiar with that offers CPD hours. Also, there are some free hours that can be attained from so many sources that you could meet your required hours with other options. If it were a scam to make the societies money, they should have done a better job of limiting the market.
I used pdh-online, It??s $135 dollars for 2 years and you can get unlimited pdh??s. Since North Carolina let??s you roll over so many hours I got three years worth for the 135.
I actually go to those conferences still, but I always wonder how many have their guys pick up their packet, they have the receipt, and who’s going to say they didn’t go? It gets more and more tempting when the same stories are told and the same presentations are given every single year.
-All thoughts my own, except my typos and when I am wrong.
