I’m the last guy to give anyone static about their name.
Time spent in native country can inoculate me from any surprise I may have when I see an unusual one.
But still, when looking at a set of old highway plans I came across this one. Just put your first name in front of the last name.
OK, I’ll bite. What’s a turtle hull?
(Maybe I have one and don’t know it!)
According to Google it is a trunk or rumble seat.
I’ve never heard the term before either.

I been mostly behind my desk, or to be more honest, somewhere underneath the piles of paperwork upon my desk. I did make it to the Texas panhandle for some days in the field, during the hottest week of the year. So I feel pretty good that I still have lots of surveyor luck running through my veins!
