Took long time to figure out how many people were in the car. Turns out, just one. Just spread out all over the place.alan-cook replied 13 years, 6 months ago 8 Members · 13 Replies- 13 Replies
We worked a wreck one night where we had to run the license plate to figure out what kind of car it was. Not quite that bad, but still a fatality.
Nothing funny about those scenes.
I don’t know the source of that photo, but there’s an awful lot of wreckage in the background too……..
Those are some of the other parts of the Accord.
Those were the only vehicles involved.
Truck driver walked away with a bruised ribcage.
80,000 lbs vs 4,000 lbs.Knocked the steering axle out from under that truck and the logs seem to have been well secured, at least I don’t see any through the cab. Lucky any fires were controlled quickly, the fire extinguisher indicates someone was quickly on the ball. Watched a truck t bone a pickup on the N side of the Columbia river from the bridge. The pickup had an older couple who had missed a turn, stopped, looked at a map and pulled out for a u turn right in front of the truck. They burned, the pickup and the truck also burned and all we could do was stand there and watch. The engine block from the truck was sitting on the asphalt before the fire was out.
jud🙁 Man that is sad. I would of been bawling my eyes out!!
Car wrecks suck. Seen one too many of them turn out gruesome. :-X

Man seeing that Honda all mangled like that makes me want to sell my Accord even more so now. Mine is even the same color of that one!! Yikes!!
I love the gas mileage it gets but I feel much safer in my Dodge Ram or Crown Vic. I miss my old car, my 1971 Dodge Demon. Now THAT thing was a tank!! :car:
Admins WifeToyota Corollas are no match for Dodge pickups, either.
We worked this wreck in September after a rain had come through.
A momentary loss of attention is all it took.

>Toyotas are no match for almost any cars, IMHO. I have a dead step brother to attest to that!!! 🙁
Admins WifeDo I even want to know if what I can see there are internal organs? :X
Miranda, no, there are no body parts in those photos. I try and make it a point not to post photos with that type of content. Wendell pretty much gives us free reign here, but I don’t want to cross the line.
