Gary Burrell passed away June 12 at age 81.
In 1989 he partnered with fellow engineer, Min Kao, to form a little company that now has 13,000 employees in 60 offices around the world and had earnings of $3.3 billion last year. They combined they first names to arrive at a unique name for their company………………Garmin. You may have heard of it.
