leader problems with Carlson
Working in Carlson intellicad 2019 using the leader with text command.
I’ve always been frustrated that the leader had to be a minimum length in order for the arrowhead to show. The length being at least twice as long as the arrow. Sometimes I just need an arrow with just a little stem on it due to space. I try to avoid using the arrowhead command as it makes the arrow and the line 2 separate entities.
Anyway some way some how today all of a sudden I can now use the same tool (leader with text) and now draw the leader as short as i want. The arrow that gets added is somehow dynamic to the length of the leader however if i make the length long it will never go over my maximum arrow head size as defined in the options.
Now after digging around a bit i see there is the move text command / move label with leader / and move pt attributes with leader all of these have options to set the minimum leader size for arrow. Whats weird is even using those commands and changing the defaults for minimum size for arrow they seem to have no effect for those particular commands and no change to the draw leader with text.
2020 Carlson Intellicad works just how i was used to leader with text needs to be a minimum length ???? ???®
The thing that bothers me the most is not so much that i cant control the minimum length to draw the arrow its how in the ******.***** does this happen without me changing anything. No updates to 2019 since July.
Does anybody know what controls the minimum length that the leader has to be to draw arrow within the draw leader with text command??
Also anybody using 2019 could you check to see if the same is happening on you end.
