I filled up about 2 weeks ago @ ~3.50 Mid-grade, and that should last me until sometime in May or early June. Hopefully the price will go down by then, BUT I’m not going to bet on that!
Back “in the day,” I drove 25 to 50 thousand miles a year, so gas prices made a big difference in my bottom line. Now days I drive less than 10 miles a week, so the price of gasoline is a lower priority than the price of Natural Gas that keeps me from wearing a parka and moon boots around the house.
seasonal and jurisdictional blends aside, they are the single biggest population of the country, so im guessing its farther down the tree than that.
just My $0.02
According to this, CA gas tax is 67 cents per gallon, the nation’s highest. In NC, it’s 36 cents which puts us at 14th highest. Of course, the taxes are losing importance as the base price skyrockets.
Duly noted and understood.
its the base price that is seemingly highly variable, and last i read anything at all about petroeum futures contracts, they ran on tem year snap shots, and nit spot pricing based upon emotional and marketplace fear.
im out of the loops.
waiting to when or if gas hits 6 bucks a gal in Colorado.
I thought you were in New Meh-he-ko.
officially i am, paid 91.67% of my income taxes for 2021 there, and decided to maintain that as my residency until Californado decides to make me feel more like home.
either way, im your erstwhile neighbor to the west again.
Sadly, I understand the cause for mixing those names. My cousins who have spent most of the past 80 years there sometimes feel as though they moved and didn’t realize it immediately.
$1.75-$1.88/Liter here in Ontario Canada. I think it’s around $7/gallon.
