Happens to the best of us.
For me, surveying is an addiction and this is my support group……
Started when I was a kid working for my dad’s business, haven’t quit since. Everyday is a new adventure.
Everyone together – Hiiii, Kennn!
Hiiii, Kennn!
We have a 12-step plan too but no one has ever made it through more than about 8 steps.

So did I, 48 years ago.
Welcome to the group of us who actually Chose this profession.B-)
I “chose” this profession when I lost my firefighters job for whistleblowing in 1986. The Surveyor of that forest was the only dept. head that wasn’t part of the good -old boys club determined to wreck my career. I do miss the excitement, but this has proven to be a better, more satisfying, paying profession, (Most of the time):-|

Stephen’s comment got me to thinking… I believe Dad brought a transit home one weekend so we could look at the moon. I loved looking at the moon (Astronomy is one of my hobbies), but the crosshairs (which Dad said were made out of spider silk) and the cool little graduation lines on the transit fascinated me even more. I think that was 57 years ago…

This is the right place. However, regular attendance will only enhance the symptoms of your problem. There is no known cure.
