Garey Gilley, Tx RPLS, LSLS
Former investigator for the TBPLS and Fort Worth City Council member. Worked for legendary Fort Worth surveying company, Brookes Baker Surveying. According to the TSPS website,
Garey Gilley, RPLS, LSLS, of Ft. Worth died this morning in Kerrville of natural causes. He was a true giant among Texas land surveyors and represents a huge loss to our community. Mr. Gilley was TSPSĀ??s first Texas Young Surveyor of the Year Award recipient in 1978. Details of funeral services will be posted when available.
