Business Ethics
A father is explaining ethics to his son, who is about to go into business:
Suppose a woman comes in and orders a hundred dollars worth of material. You wrap it up, and you give it to her.
She pays you with a $100 bill. But as she goes out the door you realize she’s given you two $100 bills.
Now, here’s where the ethics come in: should you or should you not tell your partner?
I am familiar with a similar occurrence in metropolitan New Orleans some decades ago. As far as I know, no criminal charges were brought against the RELATIVE.

If she was just leaving maybe there is time to run out and hand it back to her. If not, hopefully she left some information with me so I could call her or mail it back to her. I’d do what I could to track her down as it isn’t my other $100 to keep.
I would tell my partner. Absolutely. Maybe he/she would be able to also help in returning the $. JMHO.
