Trying to steal that….
Looks like the bees knees so far:
The US army tankers pack does it for me. I haven’t been on a site where a cart would roll in decades. UTVs don’t cut it on overgrown slopes.
The pack has fewer pockets but tons of straps and clips. It carries all you need and has quick release shoulder straps.
It all depends on your situation..
I know you’ve probably photoshopped it out, but someone once told me that certain States don’t require a number plate on the front of the vehicle, only on the rear – the reason being for privacy so that the driver or front passengers couldn’t be identified if photographed (and the example they gave was cruising with one’s mistress).
@richard-imrie not photoshopped, not required in Indiana. That sweet red 98 GMC is my mistress. She??s only got 275k miles on her so far.
Ive never had any luck with anything CHEAP.
Oklahoma is another state that has no front plate.
@norman-oklahoma
Only front plate required in Kansas is a case where vanity plates have been purchased. What is bizarre is that it has printed on the front plate that it is not a legal plate, but, if you lose it or it is stolen you can be fined for not having that “not legal” plate on the front. Once upon a time I paid to get a vanity plate. I think it was the first year they were available. Mine said CAR TAG.
Google “folding garden cart”. There are ones that are mostly nylon, with folding metal frame. Those would probably do the job on city streets and fold up small enough. There are ones that are all steel, with sides that fold down. Not so portable, but much sturdier.
My wife, who has mobility issues, uses one of the nylon ones to get stuff to and from the car (when I’m not around).
Let’s accessorize that cart.
The Shoenstedt case is a pain in the rear. Fine for in the truck but not in the field. I found that the padded case with an open end from a different manufacturer worked great in the lath bag. I could put wood, the shovel and the detector all in there, flagging and nails in the side pockets and work belt carried the rest.
This came across my desk a few weeks ago. http://www.turfchopper.com/
It seems perfect for the independent minded one-man crew. Certain models have a remote and I imagine all kinds of receivers can be strapped to it. In fact its tri-pod stance might make for an interesting total station setup. Imagine being done with the setup and not having to go fetch the gun to move it forward. With a favorable (.73) exchange rate, one of these might just be the ticket. ????
Perfect.
My plates (front and rear) say IDOLOTS.
I had a construction inspector tell me one time that I spelled IDIOTS wrong.
