Using the list equipment below just start the base. Then start rover and topo / layout away for a hour or so then got to base screen to look at the base HI or any setting just out of interest ie update rate etc
But do not change anything you like what is thereGo back to stake points or store points with rover
The rod high in store points “2.00” is ignored the trip to the base and ZERO’s the calculation value in the software but is still displayed as 2.000
The displayed value is only updated for calculation purposes if there is a value change in the display value
IE DC soft looks for a rod height change in display value THEN and only the then this value is passed to the elevation calculation
IE 2.00 display = 0.00 and calced displayed as ANT elev – 0.00 if I change HR say from 2.000 to 1.999
The software notices a display change and then hands of the new HR of 1.999 to the calculation department.The soft should compared the display to calculation HR value.
This is a serious software bug
And lord knows where else it is happening

Hi Peter,
I would suggest downloading the latest edition of SurvCE by visiting http://www.tiny.cc/survce and install the appropriate build over your earlier version of the software to see if this addresses the issue.
