Carlson 2017 with Intellicad
Posted by Kevin Rosa on December 19, 2016 at 7:35 pmCan someone shed some light on this issue. I just upgraded to Carlson 2017 from 2016 and now my Keyboard Delete does not work in the program. I can use the Delete Key for all other programs but no longer can for Carlson.

Just deleted some text with the delete key on the keyboard. Works for me. Is this the issue you are having? Email carlson support team. They always get back in a very timely matter

That’s odd my delete doesn’t work either I thought it was just me

I do not know why this is the case, have a technical email into Carlson, I will post if I hear back.

My build is the latest, so you might have one that it is a glitch in. I installed about a month ago and email them about not having the f2, text dialog box open, and the f8 ortho on/off. They sent me a patch and it was fixed. I am still very new to Carlson/IntelliCad, so I am still adjusting to some things.

Interesting, I noticed my Carlson GIS with Intellicad was missing the F2 to a dialogue box, F8, and maybe F3 for osnap was not working, but I thought maybe it was different for the Intellicad and my Survey OEM.
I have found several bugs in the Carlson GIS, and Tech Support has been AWESOME in working with me, and fixing the issues, as far as rewriting code to get the software to do what I needed. I did get a patch download, but haven’t used the GIS since the patch, at least I don;t think I have.

I think the f3 was in there too.

Carlson support just emailed me back and provided a keyboard .ick file that fixes items. I can email this to anyone that needs the file. You would type CUI on the command line then select the keyboard tab and import the file.

Kevin,
Please email the file.

That patch should also let you use ctrl+s to do a quick save. That was a big one missing from my build.

Kevin,
Thanks again for the file. The patch worked great. Now Intellicad acts a little more like my OEM version.

I know this thread is a little dated, but if someone could send this file, it may resolve a similar issue we’re facing. Thanks in advance.
