FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING A BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH (NAME THE STATE) LAW WHICH DOES NOT HAVE THE EFFECT OF CREATING ANY NEW, SEPARATELY OWNED PARCEL.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE PURPOSE OF THIS DIVISION OF LAND IS TO RELOCATE A COMMON BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN ADJOINING PROPERTIES OUTSIDE A PLATTED SUBCIVISION AND THAT NO ADDITIONAL PARCELS ARE HEREBY CREATED. THEREFORE, THIS DIVISION OF LAND IS EXEMPT FROM REVIEW AS A SUBDIVISION PURSUANT TO SECTION XXXXXX.
I’m thinking that your local board/commission/council, ect has a statement you need to include for a boundary line adjustment, these are two examples which probably won’t work in your location. But, if they don’t already prescribe some language these may do the job.

You will find lots of examples if you Google the terms
boundary line agreement [insert your state]
and if that doesn’t find anything then drop the state from the search.

It is suitable to create a drawing showing the location of an agreed boundary between adjoining property owners.
To insure that title to the slivers of land that are being transferred to one another, a description of these slivers is needed for them to be deeded to one another.

If they are agreeing to a boundary that was uncertain, there is no transfer of land and deeds just muddy the issue. If the boundary was determinable and they want it elsewhere, then there is a transfer that needs a deed.
