Can it do voice commands? That’s what I really want in my next controller. Well, that and some UWB auto-lock wizardry but that’s probably a few years away.
You can do voice commands on a TSC7.
I believe you ‘ought’ to be able to use Alexa on an Android controller – but I dont actually know of anyone that has.I believe they can, I played with it a bit, but normally I’m taking voice notes with my Cell phone in the field. Very speedy compared to typing.
Yeah but none of the Alexa or Siri understand my southern accent lol. I would love to just speak notes but until they learn my language it’s a crap shoot.
About the Voice Commands on TSC7
Really?
Acces does support that – coding included?
Any links or how to’s? That’s the first time I hear this.

Big fan of the TDC600 here too, so I’m curious to test the new one out. Like mighty moe says I’ve never noticed the 600 being slow at all. I would totally use it as my business phone if I owned one; just because it’s your phone doesn’t mean you have to answer it while you’re working.
Access per-se has no specific provision for voice control.
The technique is to use a Windows tool to mimic keyboard entry – associate various recognised phrases with keystrokes.
Using the function keys and keyboard shortcuts helps smooth the interaction with Access. It is a very niche application…
